Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera - 1984 to 1989
This kit is a modern update to the 911 3.2 ignition system and brings the management of the car into the digital age to allow greater control over ignition and fueling.
The kit replaces your restrictive old fashioned air flow meter (barn door) with a modern map sensor managed by intake pressures.
The kit gives many driving benefits, better/smoother power delivery, better throttle response, eliminates lots of the low-down idle problems as it now uses a throttle position sensor and delivers more torque and BHP.
The kit is delivered ready to use with a PPT ignition map for the 3.2 standard engine management; however, the kit can be mapped for different cams and engine capacity increase.
Our latest kit now comes with an upgraded ECU and can run a wide band sensor (oxygen sensor).
Our kits include this capability but the sensor needs to be ordered separately.
While developing the upgraded ECU we have also changed our intake pipe; this now works with the factory airbox, gives a stock appearance in the engine bay and houses the map sensor and air temp sensor out of sight.
