The Wagner Tuning Porsche 991 911 Turbo (S) Intercooler Kit has the following core size (2 x [320mm x 238mm x 110mm] = 16,755L)/(2x[12,6Inch x 9,37Inch x 4,33Inch = 1022,45Inch³), providing 40% more volume compared to the stock mounted intercooler. Our engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the end tank design to remove any OEM bottlenecks, resulting in increased flow rating and charge cooling properties. This intercooler Kit uses our award winning Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler Core which is made specifically for this application. It is one of the highest quality Tube Fin cores available on the market. The intercooler has just a weight of 2x 5,3kg. Flow analysis and simulations were created to optimise the design for best possible Internal Airflow. The Intercooler Kit also includes a suitable carbon air shroud to ensure optimum airflow to the intercooler. As well as additional silicone hoses with an enlarged cross-section. This unique Y-charge pipe has been designed for the best possible internal airflow, while using laborious CFD simulation. All bottlenecks of the stock mounted Y-charge pipe were eliminated and adapted to a uniform cross-section. This means, the intake air is no longer unnecessarily blocked by cross-sectional changes and results in a reduction of the pressure drop inside the charge air system. For your vehicle, this manifests itself in a noticeable increase in performance (depending on the software version).

For a long time the only solution for a Porsche 991 GT2 RS intercooler upgrade was not an upgrade, but a band-aid for the stock 1990's style water spray system which sprays water from a reservoir in the frunk and onto the intercoolers. The band-aid was to install a larger capacity water tank which simply delayed the inevitable running out of water and output to be automatically limited by the factory ECU to try to keep the engine safe. Until you refilled the reservoir again it's likely your 991 GT2 RS would struggle with charge temps and limited output.

Experts in cooling CSF and PWR have joined operations to deliver a High-Performance Intercooler Upgrade for the 991 GT2 RS which eliminates heat soak and lowers charge air temps on stock, tuned and tracked cars. CSF achieves this by using an F1 performance grade core which dramatically improves the efficiency of the intercoolers within the same space constraints.

The CSF High-Performance Intercoolers for the GT2 RS boasts 13 more cooling rows than the stock intercooler, boasting 28 rows in total vs. the stock 15. The tube height and fin height is also maximised with the CSF core boasting a dual-row 3mm rolled tube vs. the factory 7mm height and the CSF core uses a fin height of 4.85mm vs. the factory 7mm. As you can see, the CSF core maximises performance in every area.

The differences don't just end in performance. The CSF High-Performance Intercoolers for the GT2 RS also boast reliability and durability improvements. Customer feedback has reported numerous failures with the standard end-tanks which uses an un-secure and failure-prone crimped and gasketed mechanism which can leak over time with numerous boost cycles and increased boost pressure with tuned cars, whereas the CSF High-Performance Intercoolers for the GT2 RS is 100% TIG welded for maximum reliability and durability.

Welcome to our TTE1200VTG Upgrade turbocharger stage for Porsche 911 GT2 RS 3.8L 700PS flat-6. To construct a pair of TTE1200 VTG we change the original compressor and employ a far larger and more efficient billet wheel and mill the compressor cover to optimum gap to match the new compressor profile.

Equilibrium:

Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor to become a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are paramount. Good balance improves acoustics also. Subsequent great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieving our balance standards. Firstly parts are balanced at slow speeds up to 2800RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then components are assembled and then the CHRA are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on application at up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire the ultimate equilibrium, to a standard far higher than OEM. Each turbocharger is supplied with serial numbered balance test result document.

TTE1200 VTG can be fitted to Any 3.8 but you would need GT2 RS Exhaust Manifolds as turbo flange different, also oil, water lines, charge pipes and intakes

An additional water tank for charge air cooling increases the standard volume by around 9 litres and ensures that the range is significantly extended between water refills. 

As a result, this allows the intake air temperature to be cooled for longer, with the objective of achieving maximum power yield.
